On 6 February 2023, M 7.8 and M 7.7 earthquakes struck southern and central Turkey and northern and western Syria and devastated people's lives.

The Government of Turkey, with the support of humanitarian partners, has recently provided shelter and accommodation to 4 million people, in addition, they have provided adequate food assistance to the survivors.
Despite this fact, at least 590,000 people in formal settlements and 1.6 million people in informal areas are still living in tents in poor living conditions with limited or no access to various services.
As a future challenge, to provide sustainable support in response to the priority needs of people, the appropriate distribution of various services such as education, health care, and food.
Many people will probably encounter various problems in the process of reconstruction that have just started.
Nevertheless, they will still live on to return to normal life.
